The Big One-O

It’s been quite a while! Almost 4 months since the last blog post and 2 months since the last release. Fret not! Silence does not mean a lack of development or maintenance. I’ve been heads down and hard at work on the v1.0 release of Sleeved, and I’m proud to bring that to you all today.
To be honest, this release was really scary for me. v1.0 in the software development world means a lot, at least for me. It means, here’s a stable application that you should be able to use on a daily basis. That means little to no issues and it’s an actual working, functioning application that people get use out of. And in this era of AI, that is important now more than ever.
My vision was always to release the collection tracker as the v1 feature. It’s the thing that ties everything together for me. For the Digimon players – you already know we suffered from not having a lot of good (if any) options for collection tracking, let alone the other stuff I’ve built into Sleeved. And for someone like me, who indulges in plenty of card games, it’s even more important for me to have everything in one place.
And that’s the key. Sleeved is truly my baby. I don’t use anything else, when I don’t have to. I build my decks on here. I use the meta insights to see what others are doing and see what I can do. I’ll be putting my collection here. Sleeved is everything I’ve wanted as a TCG player, and as such, development won’t stop until I’m no longer a TCG player (I know, hard to imagine, right?)
Sleeved’s v1 release marks a milestone for me – honestly speaking, the first time I’ve seen a project of such stature thru to fruition, as well as the first time I’ve had people NOT myself using something I’ve developed. It’s a cool experience, and I’m glad to be able to share it with y’all.
Check out all the details about the v1 release here. I’d go over it here, but let’s be honest, you’re just reading this because you love me :D
Much love and props to anyone reading this and using Sleeved. You’re a real one, and I appreciate you. Here’s to v2, whatever that may hold!

I've been writing software since I was a teenager, started because I wanted to make games. Every problem is a puzzle, and my honest belief is that almost nothing is impossible with software development. Currently building Sleeved, a multi-TCG deck builder & Neuroloom, a memory engine for coding agents.
